We may collect two general types of information when you use the Site:
Personally Identifying Information (“PII”): PII is information that identifies Users, such as name, address, phone number, email address, user id, financial information, demographic information, behavioral information, and location. When Users engage with the Site and its content through third-party sites, plug-ins or applications, we may have access to certain information from Users’ social media profile, such as name, photo, gender, birthday, location, videos, list of friends, etc. This information is included in the definition of PII.
Non-Personally Identifying Information (“Non-PII”): Non-PII includes information about how Users interact with our site, such as type of device used to access the Site, type of browser and operating system, web sites visited, Site pages visited, and the computer ID address, but which does not identify individual Users. This policy does not apply to Non-PII and does not limit or restrict our collection or use of Non-PII.
We do not collect PII from Users unless they voluntarily submit such information to us. We may request and collect PII from Users in a variety of ways, including, but not limited to, when Users visit our site, register on the Site, create a profile, facilitate a transaction, express interest in a real estate property, share real estate, connect to other users and professionals, subscribe to a newsletter, respond to a survey, fill out a form, or in connection with other activities, services, features or resources we make available on our Site. Users can always refuse to supply PII, except that it may prevent them from engaging in certain Site-related activities. In addition, an employer or entity utilizing the Site may furnish PII about their staff, employees or contractors who are making use of the Site.
We will retain the PII you provide so long as your account with the Site exists. Even after your account is close, we will retain your personal data to the extent reasonably necessary to comply with our legal obligations (including law enforcement requests), meet regulatory requirements, resolve disputes, maintain security, prevent fraud and abuse, enforce the Terms of Service, or fulfill your request to “unsubscribe” from further messages from us. We will retain Non-PII after your account has been closed.

IdealEstate strives to provide open and transparent information about real estate markets. For example, we make available past sales prices for homes, and allow any user to post a question or answer about a given home. Many times, this information is already publicly available. As long as discussion surrounds real estate and not individuals, we intend to keep this information freely available through the Services. Where a professional participates in the IdealEstate communities, we may also allow users to comment on the professional.
Protecting the privacy of children is especially important to us. For that reason, we never collect or maintain information at our Site from those we actually know are under 13, and no part of our website is directed to or intended for use by anyone under 13. Children under 13 should not use or submit any information through the Site. If you are under the age of 13, you only may use the Site with permission from your parents or guardians.

"What I like about IdealEstate is that it champions agents and makes searching for a home online fun, as opposed to a chore. It’s very non-aggressive and welcoming —buyers won’t feel like they’re trying to find a home. When you see your IdealEstate invitation, accept it. Try something different for yourself and your clients."
