How is IdealEstate different from other real estate portals?

IdealEstate is the first Real Estate portal and referral network dedicated to supporting agents and their many professional partners. This means that we recognize the value that agents bring to their clients and so unlike many other portals who have tried to eliminate agents from the home buying process, we are committed to only building products that will empower agents and their partners.

What’s the difference between a lead and a referral?

A lead is a cold introduction to a potential business opportunity. A referral is a warm introduction to a potential business opportunity. Most real estate professionals agree that one warm referral is worth many times more than a cold lead. On IdealEstate you are able to easily identify and connect with more warm referrals through your IdealEstate Network.

How do I increase my potential referrals and business opportunities on IdealEstate?

The best way to increase your potential referrals and business opportunities is to connect with your professional partners. Every professional partner you invite or connect with on IdealEstate will help increase your business opportunities.

When does it make sense for me to upgrade to IdealEstate Preferred?

While this number can vary based on your personal needs, many professionals see the value in upgrading to IdealEstate Preferred when their IdealEstate network has connected them with least 10 potential business opportunities. Cold Leads from other real estate portals can cost anywhere from $20 to $225 a lead. Compared to these solutions, IdealEstate Preferred is an efficient and affordable way to connect with quality opportunities. What are Referrals?

Referrals are opportunities presented to you through the common connections you make on IdealEstate.

Does IdealEstate sell my leads or data to other third parties?

No, IdealEstate does not sell your information to third parties and we do not allow other competing professionals to advertise on your profile or on your listings. We believe in empowering all real estate professionals, therefore, the data you generate belongs to you.

Which professional partners should I invite to connect with me on IdealEstate?

You should invite any professional that you work with and trust regardless of their location. In the real estate industry some of the best opportunities and referrals come from your professional partners. We have designed IdealEstate to help you unlock the power of this network so that you no longer have to wait for referrals to come to you. The more types of professional partners your connect with nationwide, the more opportunities you will create.

Should I share my IdealEstate profile on social media and my website?

Absolutely! Your IdealEstate profile is the first profile that allows you to showcase your experience and the strength of the network you bring to your partners and clients. Unlike any other profile you have created in the past, your IdealEstate profile allows other professionals and clients to easily connect with you to help you gain more exposure. We recommend sharing your IdealEstate profile often and we hope it will become the only business card you will ever need.

I received an email saying someone viewed my listings or profile. How do I see them?

If you received an email about someone viewing one of your listings or your profile, please do the following. First, Log in to your account. Once logged in, select the drop-down menu below your name in the upper right-hand corner of the page, select the option called, “My Reports.” You’ll see several tiles (Profile Views, Listing Views, House Saves). Select the tile that says, “Listing Views.” Scroll down. You’ll see the names and location of the person who viewed your listing. You can view their profile page and/or message them.

How does Preferred+ recruiting work?

After signing up, include your recruiting pitch and set your ideal candidate preferences. Then, IdealEstate’s recruiting solution will leverage the power of our network of over 800,000 agents and identify the candidates that fit your criteria. Make sure you add your recruiting pitch so we can most effectively market you to potential candidates.

I’ve signed up, now what?

As long as you’ve filled out your recruiting pitch, there’s nothing else you have to do. As you can imagine, finding and cultivating candidates that have a specific interest in you can take time. As we find candidates, we’ll send them to your My Candidates section automatically. You are also always welcome to search the “Find Recruits” section for additional candidates.

What kind of results can I expect?

Based on the Preferred+ plan you choose, you will receive a specific amount of candidates sent directly to your “My Candidates” section in your notification center.

What are Candidate Tags?

Each potential candidate will have a tag that identifies that specific candidates level of interest so you know. Review each candidate tag so you know where they are at in your pipeline This will help you best decide how you reach out to them. Below are the various types of candidates you’ll receive:
INTERESTED CANDIDATE
These are candidates that have specifically expressed interest in your brokerage or team.
RECRUITER SELECTED
You’ll have the ability to search for potential candidates and save them to your "My Candidates" section.
SUGGESTED CANDIDATE
We use a scoring system to track a potential candidate’s behavior. For example, if they view your recruiting pitch, marketing video, or profile, they earn points. Once they’ve accumulated enough points, we’ll send them to you so you can continue to cultivate them.
QUALIFIED CANDIDATE
These are candidates that meet your Ideal Candidate criteria (established when creating the account). They’ve either viewed your recruiting pitch/profile or have watched the marketing video regarding your team or brokerage.
